Blur takes a few seconds to appear in lock screen (about 5 seconds)

Just lock device and you'll see it happen.

Looking at the video again, it looks like it also hides the stylus panel only after blur has been initiated.

It also hides the IME ("US" is visible in the system menu before blur appears)
