autofill not filling last name properly |
|||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. add last name with multiple spaces, like in my case "Soeiro de Faria" 2. open a website with a form 3. Chrome will add "de Faria" as the last name What is the expected behavior? Expected behavior should be for Chrome to add "Soeiro de Faria" in the last name field What went wrong? Chrome only adds "de Faria" as last name Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 27.0 r0 Easy fix would be to have in the autofill settings fields for First, Middle, Last name, to avoid any confusion.

I like the idea of having First, Middle, Last name in autofill settings. This issue has caused me so much of retyping in many kinds of forms and particularly annoying on mobile. Additional suggestion: Chinese/Japanese/Korean have their surname written *before* given name, I believe there are even more formats of writing full name in other ethnics. This means we often need to write our full name in native form and also western form in different situations. Please consider both cases in the design process.
