Youtube specific : the bottom band of pixels is unclickable for hyperlinks

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3. What is the expected behavior? I should be able to click the channel's hyperlink. But it was like clicking in blank space. The right side scroll of video suggestions works perfectly, and i am able to click on them. What went wrong? I am not able to click the bottom band of the screen on youtube. I need to scroll down to make it clickable. Did this work before? Yes Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 10 & Mac 10.12.6 using chrome stable-62.0.3202.75,reported version-61.0.3163.100 & Canary-64.0.3250.0 as per C#1.Able to click the bottom band of the screen on youtube. Please check the issue on clean profile & upgrade chrome to latest versions & let us know your observations on the same. Please find the attached screencast for reference. Thanks..!

May I know what do you mean "clean profile"? Also my chrome is not getting upated to the latest version. I face the following error: An error occurred while checking for updates: Update check failed to start (error code 4: 0x80070005 -- system level). Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

shridhar.puntambekar@ Tested this issue again on Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.12.6 using the latest Stable 62.0.3202.75 and Canary 64.0.3254.0 by following the steps mentioned in the original comment and unable to reproduce the issue. In reply to comment #3, request you to restart your system, launch chrome and update to the latest version. Please retry the issue and update the thread with the observations. Thanks..

Tested the issue on windows 10 , ubuntu 14.04 and Mac OS 10.12.6 using chrome M63 #63.0.3239.84 and canary M65 #65.0.3288.0 and issue is not reproduced. As there is no update from user for long time , closing this issue. Please feel free to raise a new issue if any issues in latest chrome channels. Thanks! |
