Google Hangout Screen Share does not work

Reported by andrew.r...@gmail.com, Oct 29 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Launch video Hangout
2. Click ...
3. Click Screen Share

What is the expected behavior?
Screen Share dialog/menu opens

What went wrong?
No response from browser. Screen sharing dialog/menu does not appear. This is a known bug from previous versions and apparently has been fixed or worked around multiple times, but continues to recur.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 57.0.2987.98 (Developer Build) Built on 8.7, running on Debian 8.9 (64-bit) Channel: n/a
OS Version: 4.7.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 #1 SMP MX 4.7.8-1mx16+3 (2017-02-23) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Flash Version: 25.0.0.127 /usr/lib/bunsen-pepperflash/libpepflashplayer.so

JavaScript	V8 5.7.492.63
Flash	25.0.0.127 /usr/lib/bunsen-pepperflash/libpepflashplayer.so
User Agent	Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2987.98 Safari/537.36

Using the command:
chromium-browser --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/34.0"
does not work, as this is detected as a deprecated browser by Google Hangouts, and redirects to a list of viable browsers.
