Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to a page with a form, e.g., https://books.google.com/ngrams
2. Enter a word or phrase, e.g., in this case click to select "Albert Einstein,Sherlock Holmes,Frankenstein" and replace it with "polar bear". Press enter to search.
3. Select "polar bear" and type the letter "p". A dropdown appears with "polar bear".
4. Select "polar bear" in the dropdown.
What is the expected behavior?
Field now contains the text "polar bear".
What went wrong?
Field still says "p".
Did this work before? Yes 63.0.3239.18
