chrome://discards shows its own tab as whatever it navigated from |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionchrome://discards lists open tabs in order of "interestingness", showing how many times each tab has been discarded and allowing users to discard tabs immediately. The entry for the "chrome://discards" tab itself -- the current one, when you navigate to chrome://discards -- shows the properties from that tab's previous location instead. For example: 1. Open new tab 2. Navigate the tab to chrome://discards Expected entry: "About discards" Actual entry: "[Internal] New Tab" 1. Visit example.com 2. Navigate the tab to chrome://discards Expected entry: "About discards" Actual entry: "Example Domain"

The chrome://discards page is being completely rewritten due to it being (a) seriously old and (b) insecure. Closing this as WontFix. I've confirmed that with the new page (code under review), this issue doesn't reproduce.
