I have reset chrome to default. On your same version. Ensured all extensions were disabled. Problem still there.

** I have just tested out the bug with a different keyboard plugged into my laptop. Problem does not recreate with new keyboard, still present with laptop keyboard.

No clue as to why it only occurs on the laptop, I will try to do some research and I have include a video recording as you did showing regular keyboard vs laptop keyboard. (Sorry if you don't have a program to open it)

Thank you for your response also. :)

Could you please check the issue on other browser by inputing through Laptop Keyboard and let us know the behaviour.

Thanks!
Sorry for the extremely, extremely late reply. But the bug is not reproducible on other browsers.

This is probably best thought about by someone who worries about keyboard shortcuts. Adding appropriate components. Maybe this is similar to or can be mis-interpreted by some computers as a different shortcut?

Hey ballajustin: Can you go to this example textarea and try pressing "y" "o" and "u" simultaneously?

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/textarea#Example

I'm trying to figure out if it happens everywhere in Chrome or just in the Omnibox.

My suspicion is that it's a hardware quirk and the simultaneous keypresses are translated to an F11 key.
Fullscreen is still entered in when i press "y" "o" and "u" simultaneously
in that text area.
It is no longer a problem with me as I rarely use the laptop keyboard.
If you would like to close the thread that is fine, but if you would really
like to solve this problem, I will assist as best as possible.
If it is really a hardware "quirk" there is nothing we can do anyways.

Regards.

Thanks ballajustin@!

Since you are still entering fullscreen when pressing "y" "o" "u" outside of the Omnibox, AND it's specific to that laptop keyboard, I'd suggest two things:

1. It's not specific to Omnibox.
2. It's probably a hardware quirk.

I will be closing this bug as Wontfix. Thanks for doing that above test for me.
