Menu bar grays out after full screen mode

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.62 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to fullscreen mode (eg. via hangouts or jitzi)
2. press ESC to leave fullscreen
3. Menu bar becomes gray (at least the upper half of it)
4. cry

What is the expected behavior?
3. Menu bar stays visible

What went wrong?
Please observe screenshot attached.

This looks like it's related to  Issue 761294 . In that case, it might be already fixed
