Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Example URL: google.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Be on a K-12 network with SSL decryption enabled and the filter's certificate installed 2. Click the microphone in the Google search bar 3. Nothing happens What is the expected behavior? The microphone button should transcribe the message. What went wrong? Most school districts are using SSL decryption now including ours. When SSL decryption is on, using Google voice typing does not work. We have confirmed we have all of the Chrome URL's whitelisted. If we add google.com to the SSL whitelist, Google voice typing works. Google voice typing is using the domain google.com rather than a subdomain like voice.google.com. We cannot whitelist google.com because it will disable the forced safe search feature and allow pornography. The best solution would be for Google voice typing to use a subdomain so we can whitelist it. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version:

We at TE-India team doesn't have a K-12 network setup SSL decryption enabled to test the issue. Hence, requesting someone from MTV to please have a look into this issue and adding label TE-NeedsTriageFromMTV for further investigation. Thanks...!!
