server.getPrimaryService('service') not resolving

Issue description

  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What happens instead?
Nothing happens, stays pending

It seems that you are using Linux. My guess is that you don't have the minimum required version of BlueZ. See [1]. Note that Linux is not fully supported yet.

I tried this with Chrome 62.0.3202.62, BlueZ 5.47 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 (kernel 4.4).

Live Output shows:

Requesting Bluetooth Device...
Connecting to GATT Server...
Getting Battery Service...
Getting Battery Level Characteristic...
Reading Battery Level...

It seems it's getting stuck waiting for the characteristic value.

Status: Available (was: Unconfirmed)
Linux isn't a supported platform.  It's a best effort and or a convenience for chromium developers at this point.  It would be good to diagnose and fix this issue but it's low priority as we have outstanding issues on supported platforms.
