Files app: Blink of multiple scrollbars is seen on opening new window

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Files app and observe left side navigation pane

What happens?
Blink of multiple scrollbars is seen.

fukino@ - I've seen this before on my lulu as well, but not on caroline/eve. Likely something to do with the hardware specs of the Chromebook.
