History button gone from all menus

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Look for the history button. 2. It is totally gone from the entire browser. 3. No I am not using private browsing. What is the expected behavior? To elaborate, we moved History inside the new Chrome Home surface. When the toolbar is at the bottom, if you pull up on the toolbar you will see a surface containing your most visited tiles and article suggestions. You will also a see a navigation bar at the bottom, containing a history icon. If you tap the history icon you will see your history.

I hate this constant swinging top to bottom throughout the day of where I am supposed to enter things... and wish all this was consistent with Desktop: keep URL entry at the top. What if someone decided to redesign the keyboard, and put spacebar at top? Yes maybe one day I will discover those places, for now I just tap what I see: menu dots. But all this is besides the point. Anyways one would think Recent Tabs would be a part of History, and not the other way around. |
