Different height for bold and normal letters of the same font

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 Edge/15.15063

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open attached diff.html file in browser
2. Set page scale to 125%

What is the expected behavior?
Letters' height is equal for bold and normal text.

What went wrong?
Bold letters' seem to be smaller than normal ones.
See bold_font_bug.png for an example.

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Status: Untriaged (was: Unconfirmed)
Able to reproduce the issue on the reported chrome version 62.0.3202.62 and on the latest canary 64.0.3248.0 using Windows10. As the issue is seen from the beginning M50(50.0.2661.0), hence considering it as non-regression and marking it as untriaged.

Note: Unable to reproduce on Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.12.6
