Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 9765.81.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.120 Safari/537.36 Platform: 9765.81.0 (Official Build) stable-channel veyron_speedy Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Setting up a Printer will cause it 2. Typing something in the setting searchbar and hitting enter. 3. What is the expected behavior? The screen shouldn't blank out and shut all my tabs down. What went wrong? The screen went black when I tried to set up my printer. Every time I try it it does it again. Also when I just tried typing something in the searchbar in the settings and hit enter it happened again. It comes back up a couple of seconds later stating that Chrome shut down incorrectly and asks if I would like to restore my tabs but it doesn't always bring everything back. Same behavior here. Samsung Chromebook Plus, running "Version 61.0.3163.123 (Official Build) (32-bit)". In addition to the behaviors rjahagir reported, I can not select the printer from the Local printer list, so I can't print to it. Both "Reset" and "Powerwash" did not remove the problematic printer from the list, "Manage" still crashes the machine.

Can you navigate to chrome://crashes and see if there is a crash report from around the time when you tried to set up the printer?

The only crash I have there is this: Crash ID: crash/ccadc9825f8fef77

That crash is from this evening. My problem started about a week ago I think. I don't see a crash from back when the problem started.

This particular bug was fixed in 64.0.3254.0 merged to 62.0.3202.83 (as ab7a23ff6ac5aa3f433f3637fc486765ccda772b) merged to 63.0.3239.31 (as 98dd2d698e19e1a39c618950ced605e7236afc7e) However, there could be other reasons for Chrome to crash.

Mys system is Version 62.0.3202.97 (Official Build) (32-bit) and says that it is up to date. I will try to use "Manage" to set up the printer after the holiday. Thank you Anna |
