I cannot reproduce locally, on Linux/Windows.

Could you check if you are installing some system-wide plugin that
translates mouse button into some application action?
(in this particular case, you are seeing Ctrl+C, which I suspect the click
is translated to "Copy" somehow).
I checked my installed programs and disabled all plugins in Chrome, that problem shows again. I tested it in Firefox and Edge, it works fine. And also in Opera, the chrome version is '61.0.3163.100 ', didn't see the problem.
And my Chrome version is 'Version 63.0.3239.9 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)'.
Are you running a Chrome that it's version is the same as mine ?.If it is, I could reinstall my Chrome to check it again.Sorry for my poor English :)

Hi, thanks for your feedback!

So... I think you found the cause of the problem (the language translator), and
the problem is not a Chrome problem in general.
