Launcher: top row apps show up twice |
|||||||||
Issue description62.0.3202.55, 9901.46.0, link In the new launcher, the top five most recent apps appear on the top row. These items all appear below the barely legible "ALL APPS" text box, which is particularly noticeable when you only have a few apps. There should be a less confusing way to present these two groups of icons. The original mocks appear to have had a line drawn to separate the two groups, which would help here.

Agreed. I had the same impression the first time I used this. +UI peeps

This is more design-level feedback than implementation feedback. Also, rkc@ has nothing to do with launcher. Over to vadimt@ for further routing.

Over to UX lead for this issue. I know there was several solutions to identify those as "suggested apps" but it didn't come without a trade-off. It's a good thing to keep on UX radar as we move forward with the UI surface. Shiba, up to you if you want to consider options or close this as working as intended.
