Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Example URL: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/5uiopg/whats_up_with_flickering_media Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Switch tabs while viewing an animated GIF 2. View the GIF again 3. Flickering occurs What is the expected behavior? Should not flicker What went wrong? Per the video here https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/5uiopg/whats_up_with_flickering_media/#bottom-comments you can see the exact issue. This has been going on as far back as January 2012 per https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-bugs/Zt49sriEnXk. It is still unresolved after 6 months of having this issue. Did this work before? N/A Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? HTML5 Does this work in other browsers?
