Tested in chrome # 62.0.3202.62 on OpenSUSE-42.3 and not able to reproduce the issue. Please find the screen shots for your reference. Steps Followed: Case 1: 1. Install previous chrome stable #61.0.3163.100 and open multiple sites. 2. Over install the latest stable #62.0.3202.62 and re-launch the chrome. Observed that: Old tabs are displaying as expected without any errors. case 2: 1. Install chrome stable #62.0.3202.62 and navigate to chrome settings and enable the "Continue where you left off" option in " On start-up" level. 2. Open multiple sites and relaunch the chrome. as mentioned in the comments 4 and 6 ...it seems to be hardware specific. it works on my workstation but fails on my laptop. so maybe wrong optimization settings during building chrome or V8 JIT is generating native code with the wrong optimization targets?
