Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.79 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. In Webdriver navigate to a website that has authentication 2. Have it find the text fields, and have it "type" a username and password in What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? When it gets to the "@" in a email address, instead of tying it, it pops up the "About" window for Chrome. Then when typing just regular alpha characters of the password it flips to the about window again. Did this work before? Yes It worked in the version right before this past one, and I can verify that it works properly in 61.0.3163.79 Chrome version: 62.0.3202.62 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version: This is a pretty devastating bug for a web tester.

Which version of ChromeDriver are you using? This sounds like issue chromedriver:1896 , which was fixed in ChromeDriver 2.32. Could you please try with the latest ChromeDriver?
