ChromeVox reads wrong numbers and list size for unselected files in the file list |
||||||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: ToT Steps To Reproduce: (1) Create a folder containing 64 empty folders. (2) Turn ChromeVox ON. (3) Navigete to the item near the bottom of the list. (4) Select a single row (not just a filename, but the whole row). Expected Result: ChromeVox outputs file name, size, type, date, then [63 of 64]. Actual Result: ChromeVox outputs file name, size, type, date, then [17 of 18] or so. How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) Always This happens because aria-posinset and aria-setsize is only attached to the elements being selected. Also see Issue 151471 .

I'm triaging a11y bugs. I couldn't reproduce this issue. I created a folder with 115 sub-folders, selected folder 107 (also tried with 104 and 105) and it read correctly: - "Selected New Folder (107 2 dashes Folder Today 6:31 PM" - "List item 107 of 115" I tried on both "tree/list view" and "thumbnail view" both it read properly. See screenshots attached (it doesn't include the text that was read, but shows what was selected). Closing for now, please re-open if it still happens for you. |
