Last page(s) missing when printing matches different media queries than screen

Reported by julio.ho...@gmail.com, Oct 15 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open the attached file in the browser
2. Try to print (preferably in landscape mode)
3. Open the generated PDF and see that the last page with plots is not shown. The last page is cut off.

What is the expected behavior?
All contents should be printed.

What went wrong?
Last page is not printed.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable
OS Version: Antergos
Flash Version:

I have had issues with printing Jupyter notebooks before (the software that generated this HTML file). I tried printing the file with Firefox and it works a little better showing all the pages. The problem there is that some contents get cut off in the middle of the document because the equations are too long. Probably unrelated.

Simplified test. Hopefully it's possible to come up with a test that uses multicol instead of printing, but I haven't tried that yet.

Woho! No need for flexbox in the test.

Summary: Last page(s) missing when printing matches different media queries than screen (was: HTML is not printed correctly)
Using @media print instead of @media (max-width) doesn't cause any problems.

This seems to be the same as bug 732834 .

Reducing priority (no idea why it was P1) and marking as dup.
