Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7 using chrome reported version-61.0.3163.100,Stable-62.0.3202.75 & Canary-64.0.3250.0 as per the steps mentioned in C#0. Followed the same steps from 1 to 5 & observed all the checked items imported from firefox to chrome. Could you please check the issue on clean profile (without any apps and extensions) by upgrading chrome to latest stable/Canary & let us know your observations on the same. Please find the attached screencast for reference. Thanks..!

From the screen recording it appeared to me that you were not using Firefox 57 for testing. Firefox 57 is currently in beta and has a different UI. It's scheduled to be released on stable channel on November 14. I just tested it again with a new Chrome profile and I could reproduce the issue. This time Chrome version was 62.0.3202.75 and Firefox version was 57.0b11. Thanks.

I just realized that the passwords weren't imported because I was using a master password in Firefox. When I removed the master password I was able to import the passwords into Chrome. But the issue still remains for the bookmarks and search engines.

sfaisal2005@ Thanks for the feeback. Retested this issue on Windows 7, Mac OS 10.12.6 and Mozilla Firefox 57.0 using the latest Stable 62.0.3202.75 and Canary 64.0.3256.0 by following the steps mentioned in the original comment. Issue is not seen on Ubuntu 14.04. Attached is the screen cast for reference. Able to reproduce this issue on the latest Chrome builds and this issue is observed from M50 chrome versions. Hence this is a Non-Regression issue. Marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks.
