Wez@: is this lid closed w/ AC power or lid closed on battery?

This may be a side-effect of changes we've made to improve power consumption  (e.g., not render video that's being played in background tabs). 

I think the right way to handle this is for the video to continue playing and streaming at full frame rate when you close the lid.  However if it's being caused by a platform/OS issue that we can't override, we should probably just terminate the streaming session when the laptop lid is closed.

We should also verify if this behavior is consistent across platforms or is OS-specific (+dbbrooks).

This was with the laptop plugged into AC.

Should we bump the priority on this? It seems a major regression, since it means you now have to leave the laptop open while you're streaming a video to your TV.
