Keyboard closes in Landscape Orientation

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Close Chrome from MultiTasking
2. Open Chrome
3. Rotate to Landscape Orientation
4. Start Typing in OmniBox

What is the expected behavior?
The keyboard should stay open while typing.

What went wrong?
The keyboard unexpectedly closed while typing.

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.73  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.2
