Rechecked this issue on Windows 10 using chrome version 61.0.3163.100 and unable to reproduce it. Navigated to some wiki pages and scrolled using the middle scroll button. No empty space was displayed while scrolling the pages. @ irbidan: Can you please restart your machine, relaunch chrome and give a try again. Please update us with your observations. Thanks.!

i'm also getting this bug i used bisect-builds.py and got this result: You are probably looking for a change made after 479915 (known good), but no later than 479932 (first known bad). CHANGELOG URL: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/91ab6673c25ea8402f9ed2deb2ed015b914605f4..94354e4bc8670a560a273ab24ec6bbf51ff7f622 this change looks like it might be related: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/5971e47dc08dbb773f58fd6fb13b1df7917fd295 i've attached a video of the bug and a copy of my about://gpu page (i noticed the bug doesn't seem to occur with hardware acceleration disabled)

actually, i occasionally also see this bug when just scrolling quickly using the wheel (not autoscroll) with smooth scrolling disabled, so the bug is not directly related to autoscroll (just more easily seen with it) but a more general problem with scrolling fast and the content sometimes not being drawn until a repaint(?) or another scroll

All this happens, probably, only in different web pages that have some problem with badly designed front-end with errors in its HTML. It can also occur on slow computers or with a poor GPU that doesn't support fast loading of content including footer. |
