What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) go to history
(2) scroll for a long time, getting close to what you want
(3) middle click a link
(4) history snaps to current time and you have to frustratingly scroll again

It's cool that we show new history entries as they are loaded, but we shouldn't reset the scrolling.
