When using chrome driver to run e2e tests with protractor, navigation within the test can steal window focus form other chrome related apps

Reported by bpete...@redhat.com, Oct 12 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start a test suite using Chrome driver
2. Use another Chrome based app, built with Electron, such as Slack, Atom, etc.
3. Attempt to use the app while tests are running

What is the expected behavior?
I should be able to use the app with the tests running.

What went wrong?
Every time the browser navigates to a new page, it captures focus away from the Chrome based app I am working in (for example, Slack or Atom). I can be mid stream in a sentence & have focus taken repeatedly.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.6
Flash Version:

The situation happens regardless of single or multiple monitor setup. Tests can be running in a separate window than the other Chrome based app.

This issue seems to be out of TE-scope as the issue is related to chrome driver to run e2e tests with protractor. Hence, adding label TE-NeedsTriageHelp for further investigation from dev team.

There is no good way to fix this.
