Guado-moblad: Moblab tests performed numerous retries when running test suites |
||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Flash Guado-moblab ChromeOS image to your moblab 2. Connect a DUT to your moblab via a servo V2 board 3. Configure your DUT in cautotest, including starting servod for your appropriate platform for your DUT 4. Kick off a FAFT_EC or FAFT_BIOS suite tests 5. Observe the test results What is the expected behavior? The FAFT suite test cases should run only once per request. What went wrong? It looks like the FAFT suite test cases ran multiple times when test cases failed. Did this work before? Yes R60-9592.88.0 Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable OS Version: 9765.81.0 Flash Version: 9765.81.0 Working with Keith Haddow on this issue currently.

This is working as intended - in fact it was previously broken. If you want to reduce the number of retries for the test, you need to speak to the test owners and change the control files for example this one: https://cs.corp.google.com/chromeos_public/src/third_party/autotest/files/server/site_tests/firmware_RONormalBoot/control.ec_wp?rcl=46d062cf1bdbaa2779afae9b796d233b4c202112&l=17
