Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open devtools 2. Open device toolbar 3. Select "responsive" 4. Every request is sent with an Android user agent 5. When trying to add a new device, width and height are mandatory What is the expected behavior? Let developers modify the user agent of the responsive view, or add new "responsive" devices without width and height being mandatory What went wrong? Can't use the responsive view with our own user agent. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.13.0 Flash Version:

Just a comment on step 4: we are already able to change from mobile to desktop mode.

This looks more like a feature request and hence marking it as untraiged , so that it would get addressed by the respective team. Thanks!

Luckily, you can already do this! Go to DevTools menu at the top right ("Customize and control DevTools"), More Tools -> Network Conditions, and change User agent to any custom string (or select a predefined one).
Thank you for filing an issue!

Thanks a lot! It feels strange to have multiple places to change the user agent, but it's nice anyway to be able to do it. |
