PNGs no longer transparent when using Dark Reader extension

Reported by uffj...@gmail.com, Oct 11 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to any page with a transparent .PNG, e.g. https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/
2. Turn on Dark Reader extension

What is the expected behavior?
Image background is inverted along with the rest of the page

What went wrong?
Image background is not inverted

WebStore page: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh

Did this work before? Yes 61.0.3163.113

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version:

Extension has not been updated since September, so this must be a change in Chrome.

Sorry, got version numbers wrong. Not sure if this is a regression still, all I know is it happened suddenly today.

Found the culprit was changes to the extension, not Chrome's fault sorry :)
