column width distribution incorrect when td colspan=2 width:100% inserted into table with 100% width

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open the page https://jsfiddle.net/3bqazjbp/4/

What is the expected behavior?
see fiddle

What went wrong?
Table markup broken after td hide/show
