From the regression range mentioned in C#1,

thomasanderson@: Could this be related to https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/699855

Fix regression in Linux installer where /usr/bin/google-chrome was missing

This CL fixes a regression caused by [1]. There is a symlink called
/usr/bin/google-chrome, but that CL changed it to
/usr/bin/google-chrome-{channel}. This conflicted with the other
entry with the same name, which caused RPM to ignore both of them.

Thank you thomasanderson@. Triggered new Dev RC build #63.0.3236.7 for Linux.
Status: Fixed (was: Started)
Labels: TE-Verified-M63 TE-Verified-63.0.3236.7
Verified the issue on Fedora-24 & 25 using chrome latest Dev M63-63.0.3236.7 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Observed that Chrome icon is displaying in activities and able to launch the chrome and its working as expected. Hence adding TE-Verified label.

Please find the screen shot for reference.
