1. Makes our crash rate higher than it really is. 2. If someone were to use page counts as a metric for user engagement, it would be undercounted.

Per comment #2 the bug has pretty low implications, but it will be hard to fix the issue, because page loads are expected to be comparable across different versions of chrome. Will mark the bug Available.

FYI, we're switching over to Hotlist-Metrics for tracking specific metrics, as opposed to core metrics team work. Thanks!

Still a problem. We have a code, which intentionally skips RecordPageLoadStart for child windows, but it's unclear why we have that code in ShouldRecordPageLoadStartForNavigation. |
