Material chrome://flags: jumps to hash link anchor on refresh. |
|||||
Issue descriptionChrome 63.0.3236.0 macOS 10.12.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Visit chrome://flags/#enable-site-settings on new Material chrome://flags (2) Scroll (3) Refresh. What is the expected result? The scroll position stays the same. What happens instead? The scroll position jumps back to chrome://flags/#enable-site-settings This contradicts the behaviour of anchors on the web.

Understand the behaviour is different, however I didn't change the scroll anchor behaviour from the previous design, it works in the same way. I think the scroll position can't be the same position due to the page needing to populate the experiment data into the page.

Marking as WontFix. There are no current owners of the flags page and whilst the concern is legitimate it should affect few dev users usage of the flags page. If someone has cycles to tackle then feel free to reopen. |
