Action buttons on web notifications sometimes display mangled text

Chrome Version: 63.0.3233.3
OS: Android 8.1.0 (OPM1.171009.001)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

This is hard to reliably reproduce. Most of the time the text displays fine.
1. Go to https://johnme-gcm.appspot.com/chat/ on phone and log in.
2. Go to https://johnme-gcm.appspot.com/chat/ on another device and send a message.

What is the expected result?

Text on action buttons displays as expected.

What happens instead?

Sometimes the text on the two developer-provided action buttons is mangled - see attached.

Tested this on all versions of Chrome (Stable, Beta, Dev and Canary) on Android, and Stable and Beta on Mac/Linux. Cannot reproduce. John, is your site broken?
