Setting `document.title` spellchecks the word being typed

Reported by tristanb...@gmail.com, Oct 9 2017

Issue description

Chrome Version : 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Other browsers tested:
     Safari: OK
    Firefox: OK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Type in an input or textarea
(2) In a script, eg an input lister, set `document.title` to any value.

What is the expected result?
Spellchecking works as normal.

What happens instead?
The current word is spellchecked. For example, if you type exactly "examp" then it will show a red underline. Normally it would not be underlined until you hit space, or otherwise make the browser think you're done typing the word. When combined with an input event listener, this results in constant red flickering around the cursor as you type.
