Please do not color the URL bar

Reported by jidanni@gmail.com, Oct 9 2017

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
I am browsing https://www.orawellness.com/can-a-routine-visit-to-the-dentist-actually-cause-tooth-decay/

The URL bar and the menu three-dot Button has become green.

Please do not color the URL bar. The URL bar has nothing to do with the web page being browsed and when you color it you make the user think that it is part of the web page and thus is not operational anymore. Therefore you need to draw a clear line of distinction between what is the webpage and what is not. Therefore the URL bar should just remain the same no matter what webpage we browse. Yes it might look fun to color the URL bar but it is a failed experiment.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
It feels like the URL bar now is part of the web page. Even the menu dots too.

Did this work before? N/A

This looks like a Feature request related to new OmniBox UI. Requesting someone from dev team to look into this issue.

Thanks!!

I sometimes find this annoying too. But the behavior of allowing the page to "theme" the URL bar (omnibox), is intentional.
