Unable to print from Chrome browser Vmware

Issue description

Chrome Version: Google Chrome 60.0.3112.113 (Official Build) (32 bit)
OS:  Windows 7 VMware VM072002

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch Chrome browser and access Gmail
(2) Click on the printer icon on the top right of an email
(3) New tab opens, email and the print setting appears
(4) Click [Print]
(5) Spooling process proceeds and the data is sent to the printer    
(6) It shows N/A in the page section in the popup window
(7) If only printing 1/1 page it shows 1/1 in the popup window and the print works, but if printing several pages it shows nothing on the page section and the printing fails
* Printing also fails when printing only the 1st page of several pages.

What is the expected result?
Print from Chrome browser without any issues.

What happens instead?
Unable to print from Chrome browser.

Question/answer asked:
 1) the issue is happening always ? 
- YES
 2) they are using RPCS driver, could they try installing the PS driver ? 
- PS driver did not work also
  3) the printer is a network printer or a local one ? 
- Network printer
  3a) For the network printers, are they connected as \\computername\printername, or via an IP address / hostname? 
- By IP / hostname.  IP:192.168.X.XX, hostname: PRINTER_NAME 
  4) are the user profiles on the c:\ drive or are they some kind of roaming profiles? 
- User profile is located at C:\Users\Accountname\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome 
  5) What is %TMP% and %TEMP% set to? 
- Haven’t been able to confirmed yet
  6) the workaround( described in https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=661295#c16 ) is working ? 
- No. Unable to print at v61.0.3163.100 and printing using system dialog only works when the customer first closes the print preview page and re-do by using  ctrl + shift + P keys.

==Additional information provided by the customer==
Customer is able to print when the settings on print preview page is changed from the default (ex. Selecting page “2” instead of all pages > then the selected page can be printed)
Customer is able to print with Chrome v. 53.0.2785.116 but not on v55.0.2883.87, v60.0.3112.101, v61.0.3163.100 and Google Canary.

FYI on (6): if you access the system dialog (on Windows, other OSes are different) from print preview the PDF generated by print preview is used for printing - this is implemented as a "print" and the resulting PDF is sent to the system dialog. The only way to actually avoid that path altogether is to use the system dialog directly via ctrl + shift + P.
