Issue description
Chrome Version : 60.0.3112.114
OS Version: 9592.96.0
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 5: N/A
Firefox 4.x: N/A
IE 7/8/9: N/A
I would like the ability to mark some extensions for installation and background execution from the Shelf. A particular example would be LastPass access from the shelf in the same fashion as it is from an open browser window.
What is the expected result?
This would stream-line workflow in that from the ChromeOS desktop the user could select lastpass and search their vault. The resulting webpage would open with credentials pre-populated.

With the movement of Chrome Extensions from the Chrome Webstore to the Google Marketplace (https://cloud.google.com/blog/products/g-suite/migrating-gsuite-extensions-from-chrome-web-store-to-gsuite-marketplace) this makes a lot of sense.
