click external links on mail won't open on my browser

I received an email. The email has a hyperlink. I clicked the hyperlink and page wont open on my chrome browser

Rechecked this issue on MAC 10.12.6 using chrome version 61.0.3163.100 and unable to reproduce it. Received mails from Amazon, Amway, Dmart with links. Navigated to respective pages when clicked the link. Also tried manually sending test mails with links and was able to click the links.

@ gavinkalika: Request you to please do a chrome restart and try again. Please update us with your observations.
