Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: In our corporate network there is a local page at http://192.168.0.1:8888/index.html This page should activate the microphone and / or the camera at the click of a button. if you go to this page locally (http://127.0.0.1:8888/index.html) everything works as it should. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? At the same address http://192.168.0.1:8888/index.html access to devices is blocked. You can not unblock or add to the exclusions. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: I made a video where there is a problem. https://youtu.be/mxbb-H7qtN8 I hope this helps.

This is working as expected. Access to device APIs requires a secure context. In Chrome, that means you must either use HTTPS or the URL hostname must be 127.0.0.1. The exception raised by the call notes: "Only secure origins are allowed (see: https://goo.gl/Y0ZkNV)" |
