Reported by jcamilo...@gmail.com, Oct 2 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Using 61.0.3163.100 chrome version
2. Using js technologies like http://www.pixijs.com/ and https://threejs.org/

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
The animation area gets black ( intermittently ) or it does not run fluidly.

Did this work before? Yes 60

Can't reproduce this with the two examples in c#1. They work fine on macos 10.12.6 and Chrome 61; I don't black areas, and it runs smoothly for me.

I do not know how to show you the behavior of the animations I pointed out in C # 1.

For example, my suspicion is that the problem / incompatibility could be webgl since none of these animations goes smoothly:

https://webglfundamentals.org/webgl/lessons/webgl-animation.html

Remember that I am using Mac: IOS El Capitan 10.11.06 with with the graphics card
ATI Radeon HD 4850 512 MB and the 61.0.3163.100 chrome version.

Thanks and have a good day

jcamilo721@ Thanks for the issue.

Unable to reproduce this issue on Windows 7 and Mac OS 10.12.6 using the latest Canary 63.0.3233.0 and Stable 61.0.3163.100 following the below steps.

1. Launched Chrome and navigated to https://threejs.org/.
2. Selected a random project from the site and it is running smoothly and no lag or black areas are observed.

Request you to please retry the issue on fresh Chrome profile without any flags/extensions and update the thread if there are any issues.

Thanks..

Over to the webgl team perhaps they have an idea.

I suspect this is a duplicate of Issue 769488 . Can you please update to Chrome 62 (go to about:chrome and take the update) and confirm whether it's fixed?
