Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 OPR/46.0.2597.39 Steps to reproduce the problem: Run the famo.us demo on http://disrupt.famo.us/periodic402/ What is the expected behavior? Expect smooth animation but experienced stuttered animation. What went wrong? The famo.us demo works smoothly in Opera 46, but stutters in Opera 48 on the same machine. Tested with: Opera 46.0.2597.39 Opera 48.0.2685.32 both on Ubuntu 17.04 (x86_64; LXDE) Repeatable on other computers Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 59.0.3071.115 Channel: n/a OS Version: Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0 Found while following up a related report of regressions in SamsaraJS: https://github.com/dmvaldman/samsara/issues/74

The symptoms are still present in Chrome 61 on Ubuntu 17.04. You can see it when the periodic table in the demo rotates about the vertical z-axis.

This is JS driven animation of 3D transforms. My guess is that we are stalling trying to update something or other. The implication is that there is a regression here. Can someone from Opera tell us which Chromium revision are spanned by Opera 46.0.2597.39 and Opera 48.0.2685.32?
