Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open http://www.hr 2. Translation bar shows at the top of the page, offering translation. 3. Click "Nope" and refresh the page. What is the expected behavior? Not show the translation bar again. What went wrong? There is no option to disable the translation bar in guest mode. Every time you click a link, the translation bar is shown. To make it worse, it's animated, which makes the page slide down on every click. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version:

Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.6, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version 61.0.3163.100 and latest canary 63.0.3230.0. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M50 old builds. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

This is working as intended. The translation prompt suppression is based on previous translation accepts / declines. These are not stored for the guest profile (for obvious reasons). Thus the translation prompt suppression will not be triggered for the guest profile. |
