When ever we are using file:///sdcard/ command in chrome browser we will get all the information and file stored in sdcard eventhough pattern lock is enable for gallery

We will get all the sdcard file.

there is security mechanism to lock down individual things on the sdcard. either an app has no access, or has access to everything on the sdcard. so that's expected behavior

if the gallery app tells you your gallery data is locked down, it's just lying
