Form data (POST) missing from developer tools when 302 status is returned

Reported by jamesbot...@gmail.com, Sep 29 2017

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. POST simple data to a web server
2. If form valid return redirect (302)
3. Inspect dev tools and see POST data is missing

What is the expected behavior?
Previous to recent update POST data was visible for 302 responses but has now disappeared. POST data is still visible when the response is 200

What went wrong?
To work round this for while developing we are commenting out the redirect in our controllers. However this does not help us debug our system in production which we now have to use FireFox to see the POST data

Did this work before? Yes Chrome 60

Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version:

Also appears in macOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29).

Chrome Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Canary Version 63.0.3227.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit)
Chromium Version 63.0.3228.0 (Developer Build) (64-bit)

I can't see any form data on any currently-published Chrome browser.
Also happens for 301 and 303. Was able to confirm this previously worked in Chrome 53 (only other version I have to hand).
I've also experienced this issue. Would be helpful to know what's going on? Would rather not switch browsers!!!

Additionally, if you use "Copy as cURL", the data is missing from the resulting curl command.
