Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Put Chrome on second monitor 2. Try and open up a list of bookmarks from bookmark bar (in a folder) in which there are more bookmarks than the height of the screen 3. Realize you have to move the arrow to the bottom of the list of bookmarks and then you can scroll thru them What is the expected behavior? When on the primary display, clicking on a folder from the Bookmark Bar shows the list of bookmarks from the top. When on a secondary display, clicking on a folder from the Bookmarks Bar shows the bottom of the list and you have to hover over the bottom in order to unlock it so you can scroll to the top and get to the first bookmark in the folder. Again - this is only when clicking on folders in the Bookmark Bar on the second screen. What went wrong? Unsure. Cannot provide a screen shot due to the sensitivity of the bookmarks for the one folder I have but this is simple to replicate as long as you create a folder in the bookmark bar with more bookmarks than the height of the screen on the 2nd monitor. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 61.0.3163.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.12.6 Flash Version:

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported version 61.0.3163.100 stable on Mac 10.12.6 with the steps mentioned in comment#0. Same is observed on M50-50.0.2624.0. Attaching the screencast of the secondary monitor for reference. @mjonesnj: Could you let us know if we missed any steps from our end and also please check the issue on fresh profile with no extensions or apps installed. Thanks!

As there is no response from the reporter for more than a month, marking this as Wontfix. Please feel free to raise a new bug if the issue still exists. Thanks...

Sorry - yesterday was the first email I saw on this. My apologies but I realized why this may not be an issue for you normally. Since I have my laptop at the bottom of 2x 24" screens, I have them positioned in Aligment that the 2 monitors are ABOVE my screen and the laptop is about in the middle (see screen shot). X . X X That would be a rough idea of how its setup. I've since upgraded to the latest Chrome and its still doing the same thing. I have some 50 bookmarks in the folder and they won't fit on the screen - so until I move my mouse to the bottom, only then will it allow me access to the top ones. I have a screen shot showing me what it looks like when I open things up and the Chrome window is in the upper left monitor. Hopefully I still don't have to reopen this. |
