Quick view: preview is not working

Chrome Version: 63.0.3223.0 9979.0.0 Caroline

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Focus on a file in the Files app
(2) Hit space bar

What is the expected result?
Quick view opens and shows a preview of the files.

What happens instead?
Quick view opens but no preview is shown. I tried .jpg .png .pdf .mp4 and got the same result.

This is too had to reproduce without a reduced test case. mcririmele@, can you reproduce this after a powerwash?
