Create table with "border-collapse:collapse;" 2. Create one row with 4 cells. 3. Create another row with colspan=4 and border with transparent color (rgba). What is the expected behavior? Border has consistent transparency across the entire table/row. What went wrong? The border has the correct opacity over the first cell, then a darker tint on the remaining part. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? No In Firefox it works correctly. In IE 11 I see the same issue. Able to reproduce this issue on Mac 10.12.6, Win-10 and Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome reported version #61.0.3163.100 and latest canary #63.0.3226.0. This is a non-regression issue as it is observed from M50 old builds. Observed that the border doesn't have consistent transparency across the entire table/row. Hence, marking it as untriaged to get more inputs from dev team. Thanks...!!

I think to fix the issue from the root, we need to implement cell grid based collapsed border painting.
