The citrix app that's shown as installed is 2.5.1.302, which, as of today, *is* the latest version available in the webstore. Additionally, the notifications that prompt for "A new version of Citrix Receiver" is available are not shown by chrome, but by Citrix. This seems like Citrix is doing something wrong. Am I missing something? Do we know the conditions under which Citrix shows this notification?

I have not been able to reproduce this issue on my gsuite and chromebook. I have enabled the force install of citrix and it works as expected with not prompt to update. Going deeper into the case issue. IT appears that the IT has enabled Ephemeral mode enabled, which will clear the user profile on each new session/login. I am not sure how that is enabled on a Chrome OS device as it is windows, mac setting as Chrome OS browser is already signed. I saw in their policy screen shot it is enable but I am not able to enable this feature on my Chrome OS device even with the policy set in the admin console. Will need to ask the customer if they are using this policy to manage both Chrome OS and Enterprise browser.

@ Jeffej I was checking the screenshot with the policies and the one that says DeviceEphemeralUsersEnab, is the one you enforce from the Device Settings called User Data 'Erase all local user info, settings, and state after each sign-out' Could you please try enabling that policy and see if the issue is reproducible on Chromebooks with that enabled?
